Our recreation team has been here since the building opened, and residents and families consistently name them as the standout. Live entertainment comes in every Friday, the last Friday of the month is pub and wine, and music, drum circles, and baking fill the calendar between. The gardening program runs through the courtyard in summer, children visit through the year, and Stampede brings barbecues, a petting zoo, and a carnival. The University District’s Friday night market is a short walk away through the summer months.

Inside, a living wall greets residents and visitors in the lounge, and the cafe with its fireplace is the gathering spot most afternoons. The Maple Building next door shares events and coffee mornings, and its residents are welcome to use our exercise room, which adds a genuine sense of community beyond our own four walls.

When the cafe is open, there is always a spot to sit with a visitor over a coffee or something fresh from the oven. A family dining room is available for private celebrations, and the auditorium can be booked for larger gatherings with catering or bring-your-own food.
