Cambridge Manor opened in 2020, a modern building in one of Calgary’s newest and most walkable communities. Five neighbourhoods are spread across four floors, each with its own character and dining area. Every suite is private, bright, and generously built, with large windows, built-in cabinetry, and accessible bathrooms with barn-style sliding doors. The building sits beside the Maple Building, a 55-plus residence, and the two communities share events, coffee mornings, and an exercise room, which adds to the sociable feel of the community.
Activities at Cambridge Manor
Days here are flexible, with plenty of room to make them your own. A morning might include exercise and a coffee in the cafe, unhurried and easy. Afternoons bring entertainment, music, or a visit from children, and Fridays mean live entertainment, with a pub night closing out the month. Stampede is a big event here, with barbecues, a petting zoo, and a carnival in the courtyard, and on warm evenings the fire pits come out for marshmallows and stories. Our recreation team has been here since the building opened, and they are the ones residents and families mention most.
Experience dining at Cambridge Manor
Meals are served daily, and mealtimes are among the most sociable parts of the day. Most people sit with the same friends every time, and conversation carries well past the plates being cleared. Meals are prepared on site by our Red Seal chefs, menus are shaped by residents, and most dietary needs, restrictions, and allergies can be accommodated. Once a month, food is brought in from a restaurant in the University District, so residents can try the same places their families are visiting.
